Job summary

Fingerpaint Group is seeking a seasoned VP of Client Services to oversee a major pharmaceutical portfolio, driving revenue, client retention, and strategic leadership across accounts. The role bridges scientific expertise with business objectives, ensuring high-quality, compliant outputs.

You will lead senior teams, guide processes, and mentor talent while expanding relationships and profitability across the portfolio. Travel up to 10-15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree (PharmD, BSN, PhD, MS, MBA) is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical and/or medical communications agency leadership experience; prior Account Director required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationship functions as the principal business partner to lead client executives and guide strategic changes.
• Provide organizational leadership to internal and client teams and implement process changes for different clients and market dynamics.
• Resolve complex strategic and operational conflicts between internal staff, teams, or clients.
• Guide strategy using high-level scientific and medical communications knowledge to advance client objectives.
• Ensure client satisfaction and that goals and objectives are met.
• Oversee staffing for a portfolio, forecast revenue, manage costs, and drive profitability.
• Participate in new business development, prospecting, and onboarding.
• Mentor senior Client Services leaders and develop talent across the team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to agency processes and budgets.
