Job summary

WSP is seeking a Vice President, Civil Engineer for its San Francisco Bay Area office. The role offers leadership for transit rail and infrastructure projects within the California Regional Transportation team and TEC.

You will guide multi-site teams, oversee design and construction phases, and drive innovative, future-ready solutions. The successful candidate will have deep civil engineering expertise, a long-term track record, and the ability to manage complex programs while mentoring staff

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related discipline.
12+ years of post-education experience in engineering, civil and infrastructure design.
Engineer license required; CA PE preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for multi-sector projects in transit rail and systems.
Lead design, concept development, and planning across complex infrastructure programs.
Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality for large civil engineering projects.
Mentor staff and coordinate with project teams and clients.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety practices.
