Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead the California Regional Transportation team on local agency roadway and civil projects.

This senior role oversees delivery, mentorship, and BD efforts across Southern California, with responsibilities spanning contract negotiations and risk management. Based in California offices, the candidate will guide PS&E and related civil engineering outputs, maintain client relationships, and drive project performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Engineer license required (California preferred).
• 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in civil engineering and infrastructure design.
• Ability to lead and grow the civil engineering business.
• Experience as a project manager, deputy project manager, or construction management on projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of roadway and transportation projects for local agencies in Southern California.
• Lead key projects as Contract Manager, Project Manager, or Sr Lead.
• Participate in contract negotiations and risk management.
• Provide leadership to ensure QA/QC and quality deliverables (PS&E, reports).
• Occasional travel may be required.
