WSP is seeking a Vice President, Civil Engineering Transportation Project Manager to lead complex Caltrans and local agency roadway projects in Northern California from our San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, or Sacramento offices. You will manage PID, PA&ED and PS&E efforts, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive successful delivery while maintaining client satisfaction and strong QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline required.
• Active California PE license required.
• Minimum 12 years of post‑education civil engineering experience, including highway design.
• Minimum 10 years delivering Caltrans projects.
• Minimum 5 years in project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation projects for Caltrans and local agencies across Northern California.
• Oversee PID, PA&ED and PS&E delivery through full project lifecycle.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and safety with client communication.
• Build and maintain client relationships with Caltrans and agencies; pursue new opportunities.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC across multiple projects.
