Job summary

AMLI Residential seeks a Vice President of Building Systems in Atlanta to lead the technical strategy for essential building systems across AMLI’s national portfolio. The role partners with senior leaders to drive performance, maintenance plans, and large-scale capital projects.

You will provide the technical direction for MEP, BAS, and related infrastructures, oversee critical repairs, and mentor regional teams while aligning with sustainability and asset-performance goals.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP, HVAC, BAS, and other complex building systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, major repairs, and infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Building Systems Strategy across AMLI’s portfolio to optimize performance and maintenance.
• Drive preventive maintenance strategies and oversee third-party programs.
• Oversee capital projects, major repairs, and infrastructure improvements with technical oversight.
• Provide portfolio-wide technical support for Building Automation Systems and major initiatives like EV charging and sustainability.
• Strengthen compliance, documentation, training, warranties, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with senior operations leadership and field teams to achieve asset performance goals.
