Cortland is seeking a Vice President of Facilities Management in Atlanta, GA to lead the facilities strategy, asset performance, and risk management across the portfolio. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Asset Management, and Cortland Build to drive value and NOI growth.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of leadership in facilities/asset management, strong financial acumen, and a track record of optimizing maintenance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in regional facilities management or related functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
• Proven success leading large-scale, multi-site facilities organizations across multiple markets.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets, capital planning, and P&L performance.
• Experience developing asset lifecycle, preventative maintenance, and risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cortland's Facilities Management organization and define a facilities strategy for operational consistency and asset performance across markets.
• Define enterprise standards, governance, and maintenance programs to optimize building systems and extend asset lifecycles.
• Develop portfolio-wide asset strategies aligning preventive maintenance, lifecycle planning, and capital investment.
• Create visibility into asset conditions, maintenance performance, capital needs, and portfolio risk through data and reporting.
