Job summary

Bevara Building Services seeks a Lead Building Engineer in Atlanta, GA to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repair of building systems. You will mentor the engineering team, manage BAS/EMS, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safety and efficiency across multi-site facilities.

The role requires 3–5 years in facilities operations with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel between properties as needed. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in commercial building or facilities operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop engineering staff, delegating tasks and providing feedback.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• Mentor and train other building engineers to support professional growth and technical excellence.
• Oversee work orders, assign tasks, and ensure timely, accurate completion by staff.
• Manage BAS/EMS for energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure safety, quality, and standards compliance.
• Respond to emergencies after hours and maintain documentation in CMMS.
