Job summary

Engine is hiring a VP of Security to own security strategy, engineering, and trust posture across the company. You will lead AI security, AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while shaping security for fundraising and enterprise engagements.

You will report to the SVP of Engineering and AI and partner with legal and board to ensure SOC 2 and PCI readiness, with a focus on AI-enabled security at scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in security with leadership experience.
• Deep technical credibility in AI security and cloud security concepts.
• Experience briefing executives and enterprise customers on security.

Responsibilities

• Stand up AI security function and establish an internal AI gateway and governance.
• Lead AppSec, SecOps, SecArch, and CloudSec with a ~10-person team.
• Harden GTM and operations security, access controls, and insider threat monitoring.
• Own security narrative for fundraising diligence and enterprise deals.
• Oversee corporate IT identity, endpoints, and SaaS governance.
