Interface.ai is building the AI infrastructure for financial services from its San Francisco base, delivering production-grade AI and agentic systems. The role owns the platform-engineering half of the org—the Intelligence domain, Connectivity, Data & Fraud, Assemble, and core infra—and requires a hands-on leader who writes code and guides architecture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience with 4–6 in leadership roles at high-growth startups.
• Deep fluency in AI/inferencing platforms, LLM orchestration and infra.
• Hands-on platform background including distributed systems and API design.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform-engineering half of the org: Intelligence, Connectivity, Data & Fraud, Assemble, and infra quality bar.
• Lead a player-coach role, writing code while shaping architecture with leadership.
• Scale the platform/infra team, drive engineering standards and velocity.
