This senior role requires hands-on AI fluency, VC/accelerator exposure, and the ability to translate evaluations into strategic recommendations for Citi's global business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6+ years delivering technology for top banks or closely with AI/innovation functions.
• Strong executive communication and ability to translate technical evaluations for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Scout global AI, fintech, and enterprise software ecosystems to surface technologies aligned with Citi's AI priorities.
• Prototype synthetic data and frontier techniques for regulated use cases.
• Design isolated sandbox environments for hands-on evaluation in enterprise conditions.
• Lead structured bakeoffs with criteria, test harnesses, and benchmarking on performance, cost, latency, security, and integration.
• Develop rapid PoCs to validate business use cases before full deployment.
• Collaborate with Risk, Procurement, Legal, Security, and MRM to shepherd vendors through onboarding and TPRM.
• Advise startups on adapting products to Citi's infrastructure and data governance requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with frontier AI labs, VC firms, accelerators, and cloud providers; represent Citi externally.
• Act as authority on the modern AI stack, including LLMs, RAG, and evaluation methods.
• Manage multiple concurrent evaluations and integration workstreams across a dynamic portfolio.
