Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a VP, Risk Transformation in Santa Ana to lead AI-enabled risk and automation initiatives across the enterprise.

You will partner with Technology, Risk, and Data teams to deliver scalable, measurable outcomes, including Power BI analytics and governance aligned with regulatory expectations.

This individual contributor role requires 8+ years in transformation, strong business-to-technology translation, and change leadership to drive adoption and value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in automation, analytics, business transformation, or related disciplines.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and partner with technology teams to deliver solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate complex concepts into business outcomes.
• Risk management mindset with understanding of operational risk and regulatory expectations.
• Familiarity with governance considerations for AI, automation, and analytics (e.g., auditability, monitoring).

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled and automation-driven transformation initiatives across risk and business functions.
• Design scalable, practical solutions with Technology and Data teams.
• Own full lifecycle from concept to implementation with measurable outcomes.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and analytics capabilities for operational risk insights.
• Drive adoption of new capabilities through structured change management.
