Job summary

Banc of California invites a Senior SVP, Head of AI to define and lead the bank’s enterprise AI strategy, governance, and delivery. You will partner with Revenue, Credit, Risk & Compliance, Operations and IT to move AI from pilot to production in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include building the AI engineering bench, setting standards, and delivering measurable value while ensuring risk controls, vendor management, and strategic outcomes across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline.
• Advanced degree a plus, not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the bank's enterprise AI strategy and roadmap.
• Lead AI engineering talent and governance across units.
• Ensure production AI solutions follow risk and regulatory requirements.
• Report progress, value realization, and governance to CIO/Board.
