Job summary

Banc of California in Pasadena seeks a Senior SVP, Head of AI to define and lead the bank’s enterprise AI strategy and governance. You will translate business needs into a disciplined AI portfolio and build an engineering capability across units, partnering with Risk, Compliance, IT and Operations.

The role requires 10+ years in AI/technology, strong executive communication, and a track record of scaling AI safely in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology, data, AI/ML or digital transformation.
• Proven track record deploying AI from pilots to production.
• Experience leading enterprise AI teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise AI strategy and portfolio.
• Lead AI engineering bench and delivery across business units.
• Partner with risk, compliance, and ITGC to maintain governance.
• Report progress and value to the CIO and Board.
