Job summary
Harris Computer is seeking a senior leader to drive AI delivery maturity across our Corrections, Law Enforcement, and public-safety product lines. The role focuses on agentic, human-on-the-loop delivery, governance, and safe AI-generated code, while aligning engineering goals with business outcomes.
You will manage platform modernization, risk, and cross-team collaboration to accelerate value realization. The candidate will guide roadmaps, set standards, and mentor directors across portfolio
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required.
- 10+ years in software development with at least 3 years leading engineering teams at director level or above.
- Experience delivering enterprise software to public sector or regulated markets preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI.delivery maturity across all actively supported products.
- Establish governance for safe delegated agent work and security review of AI code.
- Own technology standards, architectural direction, and technical documentation.
- Own release commitments, risk management, and cross-team dependencies.
- Measure and improve AI maturity, revenue impact, and operational efficiency.
- Engage with executives to communicate progress and investments.
- Recruit, mentor, and structure engineering leadership for AI initiatives.
