Job summary

Harris Computer seeks a senior leader to own AI Fluency and agentic delivery across its Corrections and Law Enforcement product lines. You will drive governance, standards, and measurable outcomes, guiding engineers toward agentic, human-on-the-loop delivery.

You will set roadmaps, manage resources, oversee security reviews of AI-generated code, and report progress to executives, customers, and partners, ensuring safe, revenue-oriented AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in software development with at least three years leading engineering organizations at director level or above.
• Demonstrated hands-on use of AI development tools in daily work.
• Experience raising an engineering organization's way of working from AI assistance to agentic, human-on-the-loop delivery, including governance and validation.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies, modern development methodologies, and enterprise software delivery.
• Track record modernizing legacy platforms while continuing to support an installed customer base.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate AI delivery across product portfolios with governance and validation.
• Own release commitments and reporting cadence to customers and sales.
• Standardize development processes, tooling, and engineering metrics across companies.
• Resolve cross-team dependencies and elevate trade-offs requiring executive decisions.
• Maintain highest levels of product security, including security reviews of AI-generated code.
