Job summary

Harris Computer seeks a senior engineering leader to drive AI-driven delivery across Corrections and Law Enforcement products. You will define a multi-year roadmap, balance AI-enabled speed with commitments, and ensure governance, security, and measurable business impact.

You will mentor directors, manage budgets, align onshore/offshore capacity, and promote transparency across Sales, Support, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Ten or more years in software development with leadership at director level or above.
• Hands-on use of AI development tools with governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own release commitments across all development teams with clear dates for customers and sales.
• Set quality standards for code review, automated testing, and release readiness.
• Lead engineering managers and directors, recruiting and developing talent.
• Own R&D budget, headcount planning, and alignment with strategy.
• Drive AI capability into customer value and revenue, not just efficiency.
