Job summary

Pennymac seeks a VP, Product Owner to lead high-profile lending technology initiatives. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, define the strategy and roadmaps for mortgage experiences, and drive value through agile practices and cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll champion AI/ML capabilities—from intelligent document processing to automated underwriting support—and translate business needs into clear goals, user stories, and acceptance criteria while coordinating with tech, data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field; equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies.
• Proven success owning and delivering complex technology products or programs.
• Hands-on experience defining requirements for AI/NLP powered products, preferably in document automation or workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the lending experience area.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML capabilities to optimize mortgage workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, technology, and data science to align priorities.
• Translate needs into clear goals, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
