Job summary

Synchrony seeks a VP, Enterprise Risk Analytics to lead a global team and drive enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled insights across risk functions. You will design advanced analytical tools, translate findings into strategic recommendations, and foster talent development within the Risk organization.

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional partners to elevate data-driven decision making, build forward-looking indicators, and strengthen risk oversight

Qualifications

• Experience leading analytical teams and providing risk insights to senior management.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business; 7+ years managing analytical teams in risk/credit.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of Risk Analytics professionals and oversee development of analytics.
• Develop enterprise-wide analytics and early-warning capabilities for risk trends.
• Promote data value and AI-enabled analytics to improve risk management processes.
• Drive full-file analytics to enhance AML/BSA/OFAC compliance insights.
• Establish standards for development, validation, data lineage, and reporting.
• Present value and vision of solutions to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead continuous risk monitoring with dashboards, indicators, and escalation protocols.
