Job summary

SymphonyAI is seeking a Vice President of New Business Development to drive net new revenue by selling retailer-focused, AI-driven enterprise analytics and decisioning platforms to CPG partners. You will translate data and AI capabilities into ROI-driven outcomes, align priorities across pricing, promotion, assortment, and retail media, and scale a repeatable sales engine.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in CPG, retail, or enterprise analytics/tech sales.
• 5+ years leading enterprise sales teams (5–10 sellers) with quota attainment.
• Proven success selling complex enterprise solutions ($500K–$2M).
• Strong ROI/value-based selling and executive relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Own new logo acquisition and quota delivery across targeted CPG accounts.
• Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of six.
• Sell AI-driven data, analytics, and decisioning platforms to senior CPG stakeholders.
• Develop and execute account strategies aligned to retailer priorities.
• Lead complex deals from prospecting through close ($500K–$2M+).
• Build ROI-driven business cases to shift clients to investment-based decisions.
• Establish repeatable sales processes, pipeline discipline, and playbooks.
• Cultivate C-Suite relationships across CPG and retail ecosystems.
