Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) is seeking a Vice President in the AI Controls Enablement team within Controls Strategy & Innovation to lead risk-focused AI control activities for Asset & Wealth Management.

The role interfaces with senior Controls leadership and business stakeholders to translate AI risk into actionable controls. You will collaborate across teams to develop AI tools, run simulations, and drive governance through the AI Controls Council, delivering executive-ready insights and robust

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in risk or controls within financial services.
• Technical AI fluency — understanding of AI models, assumptions, limitations and failure modes.
• Ability to translate complex, technical AI behavior into documented, escalatable risk findings.
• Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard operations and meet regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in process and data analysis to enhance control environments.
• Strong internal stakeholder management with senior leadership.
• Project management and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Visio.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI tools alongside Citizen Developers and Technology, optimizing control frameworks, identifying risks sooner and co-signing every tool submission before deployment to colleagues.
• Determine the right tool to solve the problem from a cost-effective mindset across AI and automation tools to prototype and scale automated controls.
• Run scenario simulations and red-team exercises; establish best practices and standards for the review and deployment of AI tools across the AI Controls Enablement team.
• Assist with coordination of the AI Controls Council, producing quarterly AI Controls Intelligence Report for senior leadership, including status of in-flight items and prioritization of new work.
