State Street Investment Management is seeking an Agentic AI Engineering Principal, Vice President to lead design and engineering of an advanced AI ecosystem focused on agentic capabilities for investment management. The role requires hands-on experience in agentic architecture, workflows, and protocol integration, plus leadership across global teams.

You will oversee architecture choices, tooling, deployment, and governance for AI agents, with a focus on scalable, secure, and compliant solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of technology experience in financial services with senior leadership.
• Hands-on design of multi-agent workflows and agentic AI patterns.
• Experience with open-architecture AI platforms (ML/DL, GenAI, agentic AI).
• Cloud-agnostic pipelines across GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Proficiency with Python/SQL/Rust and AI development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead an agile agentic AI engineering team to deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders on cross-border initiatives and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster high performance and accountability.
• Design agent workflows and governance across platform components.
• Lead implementation of agentic AI capabilities, including patterns and tooling.
