Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President of Agentic AI Engineering to lead the GenAI Center of Excellence. You will own the strategy and architecture of the enterprise agentic AI platform across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, setting the vision for multi-agent orchestration, security, and governance.

You will guide leadership across pods, partner with Architecture, Data/Knowledge, and Product teams, and drive reliability, scalability, and cost optimization for agentic AI workloads while

Qualifications

• 12–17 years of relevant experience, including leadership of large-scale, multi-agent or AI-driven platforms.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with Java/Go/C++ or similar.
• Proven ownership of platform architecture and roadmaps with deep agentic AI knowledge.
• Experience with multi-cloud security, governance, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise agentic platform strategy, architecture, roadmap, and governance across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Drive multi-agent orchestration, security, and runtime governance, including A2A, IAM/RBAC, and HITL.
• Lead and develop engineering leadership across pods; collaborate with Architecture, Data/Knowledge, and Product teams for end-to-end platform delivery.
• Promote innovation and best practices for cloud-native agentic platforms; oversee compliance and performance reviews.
