Job summary

Tubi seeks a Vice President, Associate General Counsel-level attorney to lead Content Acquisitions Legal, advising on licensing, risk and partnerships, and supervising a team of four attorneys. You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance and Fox teams to shape positions on legal issues and drive business goals.

The role reports to the EVP and GC and may be located in San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York, or remotely from any US location; requires deep understanding of streaming

Qualifications

• 15+ years of legal experience in entertainment/media/advertising/tech
• 5+ years managing a team of high-performing attorneys
• Experience negotiating and drafting content acquisition and distribution agreements
• Understanding of digital rights management issues
• Excellent negotiator with strong relationship management skills
• Strong drafting skills balancing legal protections with business needs and managing multiple complex transactions
• JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. state

Responsibilities

• Lead the Content Acquisitions Legal team and advise cross-functionally across Tubi and Fox entities
• Develop deep understanding of streaming/ad tech landscapes and provide business-forward legal guidance
• Implement training and process improvements for the Legal team
• Draft, review, and negotiate content license and distribution agreements
• Maintain timely communications with stakeholders and escalate issues to GC when needed
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners and licensors
• Support other Legal verticals with overflow work as needed
