Job summary

Pratum Companies seeks a VP of Operations, Residential Multi-Family Affordable Housing Property Management to oversee a regional portfolio with a strong emphasis on affordable housing programs. The role requires relocation to the DC/Raleigh regions and offers relocation assistance.

You will lead Senior Regional Property Managers, General Managers and Community Managers, ensuring strategic direction, policy enforcement, and client relations across communities within assigned portfolios.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10+ years in regional/property management with leadership oversight.
• Deep expertise in LIHTC, HUD Section 8, MOR/NSPIRE and related programs.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and contract review abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a portfolio across regions, balancing tactical and strategic leadership.
• Review monthly financials, owner reports, and participate in asset management meetings.
• Lead and develop Directors, Regional PMs, General Managers, and Community Managers.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other regulations, policies and procedures.
