Job summary

Pratum Companies seeks a Vice President of Operations for Residential Multi-Family Affordable Housing Property Management in the DC/Raleigh region. This executive will provide strategic oversight of portfolios, manage Regional Property Managers, and partner with owners on budgets and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10+ years of progressive property management leadership across a large multi-site portfolio.
• Deep knowledge of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD Section 8) and MOR/REAC/NSPIRE inspections.
• Proven ability to lead regional teams and manage budgets, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of all assigned properties and portfolios.
• Review monthly financials, prepare owner reports, and attend asset management meetings.
• Lead regional managers and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Negotiate contracts with corporate leadership and ensure NSPIRE/REAC readiness.
• Ensure timely budgeting, site visits, and resident/staff relations.
• Support business development and portfolio growth.
