Job summary
Pratum Companies is seeking a Vice President of Operations, Residential Multi-Family Affordable Housing Property Management to provide strategic oversight of a portfolio within the portfolio. The role supports regional managers, general managers, and community managers, with a focus on LIHTC, HUD Section 8, and related programs.
The position can be based out of Gaithersburg, MD or Raleigh, NC with relocation assistance offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10+ years of property management experience with regional leadership.
- Deep experience in affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD Section 8).
- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage client relationships.
- Strong financial acumen and compliance knowledge (MOR/REAC/NSPIRE).
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations of all assigned properties and portfolios.
- Review monthly financial reports and prepare owner reports.
- Lead Directors of Operations, Regional Property Managers, and Community Managers.
- Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and compliance programs.
- Negotiate contracts with corporate and legal teams.
