Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Residential Multi-Family Affordable Housing Property Management. The role oversees a portfolio across regions, driving strategic leadership and high-level client service.

Relocation assistance is available to suitable candidates. The VP will manage senior teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and align operations with corporate goals, including financing, budgets and property performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10+ years of senior property management experience with leadership oversight for large multi-family portfolios.
• Deep understanding of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD Section 8, etc.).
• Experience with MOR/REAC/NSPIRE inspections and certifications.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and client-relations skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, finance, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of all assigned properties and portfolios.
• Review monthly financials, owner reports, and asset management meetings.
• Lead Directors of Operations, Regional Property Managers, General Managers, and Community Managers.
• Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections (NSPIRE, MOR, etc.) and compliance with policies.
• Foster strong client relationships and effective cross-team communication.
