Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a Vice President of Ad Sales based in Cleveland or Columbus. The role requires travel across Ohio and Michigan and leads Spectrum Reach’s local advertising sales effort.

Responsibilities include driving revenue, leading a multi-tier sales team, and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to align sales strategy with products and services. A strong track record in media sales and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in media management and/or advertising sales with a track record of meeting goals.
• 7+ years of sales leadership experience.
• Proven ability to build client strategy teams and drive new business development.
• Experience managing large sales organizations (30+ employees).
• Deep knowledge of Advanced Advertising and streaming/CTV revenue growth.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to influence a geographically distributed sales team.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue goals for the local line of business.
• Drive revenue growth with streaming revenue as a key contributor.
• Provide hands-on, day-to-day sales leadership and market visits.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and channels.
• Lead regional revenue budgets, forecasts and long-range projections.
• Collaborate on sales strategy with other VPs and leadership teams.
• Lead a team of Directors, Local Sales Managers, and Account Executives.
• Oversee hiring, training, development, and performance management.
• Work with Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR and Product for alignment.
• Develop and implement sales systems, standards and best practices.
• Mentor and develop leaders; maintain client relationships.
