The role reports to the SVP, Head of Actuarial Reserving, and oversees quarterly analyses across 36–40 active programs, including IBNR, development, and ultimate loss projections. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related quantitative discipline.
• ACAS required; near-FCAS strongly preferred.
• Experience: 8–12+ years in P&C reserving with U.S. carriers.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly reserve analyses across 36–40 programs with gross and net indications.
• Develop and maintain reserving models and analytics, including IBNR and development selections.
• Prepare detailed reserve exhibits for statutory and GAAP reporting (Schedule P, Schedule F).
• Evaluate reserve impacts of complex program and reinsurance structures.
• Produce gross vs net reserve reconciliations and collateral-related calculations.
• Support regulatory filings with well-documented analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, and Reinsurance; SVP governance.
• Act as technical owner of reserve output; mentor one direct report.
• Contribute to reserving systems modernization (Igloo, ResQ or similar).
• Support responses to auditors, regulators, and rating agencies.

Education
