Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. seeks an AVP, Senior Reserving Actuary to lead quarterly and annual loss and LAE reserves across Property & Casualty lines, applying actuarial methods and forecasting reserve movements. Collaborate with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and ERM.

Ideal candidate has ACAS, 10+ years P&C reserving, advanced Excel and tools (ResQ, Arius, SAS, R). Strong communication with senior management, experience with GAAP/statutory reporting, and leadership to mentor

Qualifications

• ACAS designation or equivalent actuarial expertise.
• 10+ years of actuarial experience with significant P&C reserving.
• Strong understanding of U.S. P&C reserving methodologies and standards.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and reserving software (ResQ, Arius, SAS, R).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual loss and LAE reserve analyses for assigned P&C lines.
• Evaluate reserve adequacy through analysis of loss development, large losses, severity/frequency trends, tail factors.
• Prepare supporting analyses and memos; recommend carried reserve positions.
• Support statutory, GAAP, and management reporting; participate in close processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and ERM on reserve movements.
• Mentor actuarial analysts and contribute to process improvements and governance.
