Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. in Warren, NJ is seeking an AVP, Insurance Reserving Actuary to lead quarterly and annual reserve analyses for Property & Casualty lines.

You will partner with Finance, Claims, Underwriting and Risk Management to evaluate reserve adequacy and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. The successful candidate will bring deep reserving expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate complex findings to executives, auditors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation or equivalent actuarial expertise.
• 10+ years actuarial experience with Property & Casualty reserving.
• Strong communication with executive leadership and auditors.
• Proficient in Excel and reserving software (ResQ/Arius/SAS/R).

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual loss and LAE reserve analyses for P&C lines.
• Evaluate reserve adequacy via loss development, large losses, severity/frequency trends.
• Prepare supporting analyses for management review of reserve positions.
• Identify reserve risks and changes in business mix affecting estimates.
• Perform deep-dives on accident years, segments, coverages, portfolios.
• Apply actuarial methods to assess reserve variability and uncertainty.
• Report reserve movements and key assumptions to senior management.
