Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include an associate's degree or vocational training or equivalent supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
• Ability to adapt, be flexible and dependable.
• Ability to excel in task management and planning.
• Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
• PC literate with MS Office; able to create spreadsheets and databases in Excel and Access.
• Typing speed of 45 wpm.
• Keep up with Federal and State statutory changes affecting elections.

Responsabilités

• Accurate and timely data entry of registration information (new registrations, address changes, deletions, corrections, name changes).
• Supervise absentee by mail operations incl. processing applications and mailing ballot packets.
• Process returned absentee ballots and supervise ballot counting and tabulation prep.
• Review petitions for candidates, initiatives and referenda; meet statutory deadlines on campaign finance, registration, absentee voting, and local options.
• Maintain switchboard operations and oversee NCOA and duplicate lists while ensuring confidentiality.
