You must hold a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P), with school bus endorsement preferred. Background checks and drug testing are mandatory, along with faith alignment. The job is on-site with potential classroom volunteering and required LifeWise training.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P).
• School bus endorsement (S) preferred.
• Licensed continuously for past 3 years.
• Age 21–80; annual CDL paperwork if over 75.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents in 5 years.
• Background check through LifeWise Academy.
• Must complete drug/alcohol testing as required.
• Medical statements annually if known conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Enforce safety rules for students; assist with boarding and alighting.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if approved.
