The role requires CDL with passenger endorsement, potential school bus endorsement, and adherence to background checks, MVR, and drug testing. Expect a daytime route and a focus on safety and care for students.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church matching LifeWise beliefs.
• Continuously licensed CDL for past three years.
• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement required; school bus endorsement preferred.
• Age 21–80; driver over 75 must submit CDL license copy and P endorsement annually.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and volunteers to/from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and ensure bus safety and cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel when needed.
• Create a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting; maintain calm, caring demeanor.
