Job summary

Every Meal is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, develop, and retain volunteers while delivering a mission-focused, engaging volunteer experience. The role supports planning long- and short-term objectives, including improving packing event efficiency and partner relations.

The coordinator will oversee volunteer events, provide staff training, maintain volunteer data, and ensure timely communication. A strong commitment to Every Meal’s values and community impact is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of and agreement to Every Meal’s mission.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Proven experience as a Volunteer Coordinator or similar role.
• Management and/or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Model Every Meal core values to internal and external partners.
• Schedule and coordinate volunteer packing events on-site and off-site.
• Lead training and oversee volunteer management system components.
• Oversee check-in and registration through the volunteer management system.
