Job summary

Rise Against Hunger is seeking an Event Coordinator to execute volunteer meal packing events and support warehouse operations. You will lead volunteers, coordinate transportation, and engage with partner organizations to promote participation.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation and public speaking skills and ability to engage volunteers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and operate warehouse equipment.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteers during event packaging and manage registrations.
• Coordinate transport of materials and setup at multiple locations.
• Promote donations and solicit volunteer participation at events.
• Receive shipments, process invoices, and ensure stock for program needs.
• Develop relationships with partner organizations and support campaigns.
