Job summary

The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a friendly Volunteer Engagement Coordinator to build and sustain a connected volunteer community. You will recruit, onboard, train, and recognize volunteers; coordinate tours and youth programs; and act as a liaison between volunteers and staff, ensuring clear communication and meaningful engagement with the Center’s work.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Education, History, Holocaust Studies, or Museum Education is a plus.
• Experience in volunteer coordination or nonprofit administration.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and recognition.
• Manage volunteer scheduling, communication, and engagement activities.
• Lead volunteer education programs, tours, and related youth programs as needed.
• Maintain volunteer resources, schedules, and program documentation.
• Coordinate the Coppel Speakers Bureau logistics and communications.
• Develop and distribute regular volunteer communications, including newsletters.
