Job summary

The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center seeks a Development & Grants Manager to oversee grant writing, donor engagement, and daily development operations. You will work closely with the CEO/COO and track grant activities, reporting, and stewardship to advance both individual and institutional giving.

This hands-on role balances detail-oriented tasks with relationship-building in a mission-driven environment, including support for annual campaigns and legacy giving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, with strong grant writing and management expertise.
• Familiarity with donor databases/CRMs (HubSpot experience a plus).
• Strong organizational and project management skills; highly attentive to detail.
• Experience cultivating mid-level donors or managing a donor portfolio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across marketing/engagement and operations.
• Adaptability and a proactive mindset in a mission-driven workplace.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, development, and submission of grant proposals to funders.
• Maintain grants calendar for timely compliance, reporting, and renewals.
• Collaborate with finance/operations on grant budgets and reporting.
• Manage donor relationships and stewardship touchpoints.
• Oversee data integrity in CRM and donor records.
• Support annual giving campaigns and legacy giving initiatives.
