Job summary

The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is seeking a Development & Grants Manager to oversee grant writing, management, donor engagement, and daily development operations. This hands-on role works closely with the CEO, COO, and External Engagement leadership in Cincinnati to advance institutional giving and stewardship.

The role balances detailed grant administration with relationship-building, supporting timely acknowledgments, reporting, and donor communications within a growing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing.
• Strong grant management expertise and donor engagement skills.
• Experience with donor databases/CRMs (HubSpot a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented with robust project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, development, and submission of grant proposals to private and public funders.
• Maintain a robust grants calendar for compliance, reporting, and renewals.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to develop grant budgets and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with program leadership on programmatic impact and grant reporting.
• Manage institutional funder relationships and donor stewardship touchpoints.
• Maintain organized records of applications, agreements, and reporting deadlines.
• Oversee day-to-day donor systems, data entry, pledge tracking, and acknowledgments in HubSpot.
• Ensure data hygiene and timely acknowledgments and reminders.
• Support annual and corporate giving campaigns with the External Affairs team.
