Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization
• Invest in connecting with students through building relationships and praying for them
• Maintain an organized, encouraging and engaging classroom environment and apply LifeWise policies
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters; prepare information for substitute teachers
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and participate in outreach events
• Submit updates and photos to the program director and communicate LifeWise's mission in duties and interactions
