Job summary

Human Options Inc. in Irvine, CA invites a Community Engagement Coordinator to lead the Humanity in Action volunteer and community engagement program, connecting individuals, businesses, faith groups, and community partners to meaningful opportunities that support survivors.

You will develop a volunteer-to-donor pipeline, coordinate events and campaigns, support marketing, and collaborate with the Fund Development Team to grow revenue from volunteers, donations, and in-kind support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience.
• Experience coordinating events.
• Experience generating revenue from businesses, groups, and individuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manage Humanity in Action volunteer and community engagement program to connect volunteers and partners to opportunities supporting survivors.
• Generate revenue and resources by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting donations and in-kind support.
• Serve as primary contact for volunteers and in-kind donations and manage a portfolio of volunteers and donors.
• Coordinate calendar of seasonal and year-round engagement opportunities with partners.
• Host tours of centers and sites for volunteers and supporters.
• Convert volunteers to donors through targeted engagement strategies.
• Plan and execute Humanity in Action events and sponsorships.
• Support fundraising initiatives with marketing and communications activities.
