Human Options in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Community Engagement Coordinator to lead the Humanity in Action volunteer and community engagement program, connecting individuals, corporations, faith-based communities to meaningful opportunities that advance our mission and support survivor needs through volunteering, donations, and in-kind gifts.

In addition to prospecting and cultivating volunteers and partners, you will foster a volunteer-to-donor pipeline for relationship managers on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience required.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience coordinating events.
• Experience generating revenue from businesses, groups, and individuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and teamwork.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with professionalism.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to travel within Orange County to events evenings/weekends.
• Proficiency in Raiser's Edge (or similar CRM) and MS Office.
• Complete the 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate certification training post offer.

Responsibilities

• Manage Humanity in Action volunteer and community engagement program.
• Generate revenue and resources through donations and in-kind gifts.
• Serve as primary contact for volunteers and donors.
• Coordinate calendar of engagement opportunities and match needs to volunteers.
• Host tours of sites for volunteers and supporters.
• Convert volunteers to donors through targeted engagement strategies.
• Present ways to get involved to various groups to generate funds and membership.
• Coordinate outreach to partners to broaden the volunteer base.
