Charleston FRIENDS of the Library in Charleston, SC is seeking a Bookstore & Volunteer Coordinator to support a growing bookstore and a 300+ volunteer network. This full-time 40-hour/week role may require evenings and weekends, located at the Citadel Mall store.

The hire reports to the Executive Director, coordinating with committees and teams to manage multiple tasks and foster collaboration across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ related profession experience required; nonprofit/volunteer background preferred.
• Experience in a flexible, hybrid work capacity.
• Experience with Google, Microsoft Suite, Canva, Social Media, volunteer platforms, and Constant Contact is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Volunteer Coordination: onboard and schedule volunteers, track hours, report monthly.
• Store Coordination: manage inventory, Sourcing, daily sales tracking, social media, events.
• Event Assistance: plan and execute off-site events.
