Job summary

AutoFair Volkswagen in Merrimack, NH is seeking enthusiastic Sales Associates to join our team. If you enjoy helping people and are motivated, this role offers a path for advancement and a focus on building lasting customer relationships.

You will use consultative selling, demonstrate vehicles, and follow up to drive referrals. Training pay is guaranteed for the first two months, with a generous compensation package and the potential to earn $70k, $80k or more annually through commissions.

Qualifications

• Must have prior sales experience (not necessarily automotive).
• Self-starter and ambitious spirit preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be reliable, organized and detail oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Nurture enduring relationships to build customers for life.
• Exhibit consultative selling skills. Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority.
• Know the in's and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.
• Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with customers to ensure successful referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
• Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities and analyses.
• Bring your 'A game' along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day.
