Job summary

InstantServe LLC in Illinois is seeking a seasoned DoD-grade Communications Engineer to support the Air Force AMC C2 voice and data infrastructure. You will ensure secure, reliable, and interoperable VoIP and related systems in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities include system integration, site surveys, testing, modernization roadmaps, and lifecycle cost estimates, with a required Active Secret or higher clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DoD experience, preferably with Air Force C2 systems.
• Experience with VoIP, RoIP, Unified Communications, radio integration, and media gateways.
• Knowledge of secure/non-secure voice systems, voice recording, and military communications infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and maintain VoIP, VoSIP, RoIP, Unified Communications, RF radio, and secure voice systems.
• Support voice recording, media gateways, conference systems, and Giant Voice public-address systems.
• Conduct site surveys, system integration, acceptance testing, and compliance assessments.
• Develop modernization roadmaps, maintenance plans, and lifecycle cost estimates.
