Job summary

Great HealthWorks seeks a Telecommunications Architect to lead end-to-end voice platform design, implementation and modernization. The role covers self-hosted open-source components and the CXone cloud contact center, plus API integrations with an in-house SMS application.

The candidate will set technical standards, document architectures, and provide direction to the telecom admin and MSP partners while driving modernization efforts for the current platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and extensive hands-on experience.
• 8+ years of professional, related experience in VoIP and cloud contact centers.
• Experience designing, rebuilding or migrating a production voice platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain open-source voice platform components (Kazoo, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, RabbitMQ, CouchDB, HAProxy).
• Design, configure and manage NICE InContact CXone Studio scripts and routing.
• Develop REST API integrations across voice, contact center and SMS applications.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, runbooks and change workflows.
• Provide tier-3 support and issue resolution with cross-team coordination.
