Job summary
Velocity Network is seeking an in-house VoIP Support Specialist to join our Northwest Pennsylvania team. You will troubleshoot telephony and network systems, configure VoIP solutions, manage service tickets, and ensure timely issue resolution for clients across fiber and VoIP services.
Responsibilities include leading voice projects, monitoring alerts, maintaining hardware/software, collaborating with carriers, and documenting changes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience with VoIP or network hardware/software.
- Knowledge of advanced Network and VoIP protocols.
- Strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
- Able to work overtime and on-call hours.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and travel to client sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead voice and phone system projects of small to medium scale.
- Monitor alerts in the remote monitoring and management system.
- Engineer voice-related projects and provide data for review by seniors and Sales.
- Collaborate with carriers for ordering, installation, and troubleshooting of voice circuits.
- Maintain and review system documentation in Office 365 and IT Glue.
- Handle escalated tickets that may require onsite or remote assistance.
- Provide telephony support for client issues across telecommunication systems.
- Stage and implement new and existing VoIP hardware/software for clients.
