Job summary

Victoria College in Victoria, Texas seeks a full-time Vocational Nursing Instructor in the Allied Health Department to launch in Fall 2026. The twelve-month appointment includes classroom and clinical instruction, evaluation, and lab oversight, with a benefits-eligible package.

The successful candidate will guide students through integrated nursing curricula, supervise clinical practice, and participate in curriculum revision, FERPA-compliant record-keeping, and service activities across VC

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Current unencumbered Texas RN license required.
Minimum of three years nursing clinical experience, with adult medical-surgical and pediatric/maternity emphasis preferred.
Online course development experience or willingness to learn.
Strong written and verbal communication and ability to interact with diverse groups.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Team classroom teaching, supervising students in clinical practice settings and instructional labs;
Assisting in curriculum evaluation and revision;
Committee work, advising and counseling students;
Sharing ongoing efforts to recruit and retain students;
Attend meetings at other VC campuses;
Other duties as necessary.
This position will access student records at times and will follow all FERPA guidelines.
