Job summary

Unitek is seeking a nursing instructor to deliver on-site lectures and supervise clinical rotations. The role requires RN or LVN licensure in the state and a nursing degree from an approved school.

Responsibilities include updating syllabi, mentoring students, and maintaining records, with on-site attendance required. Applicants should be current with immunizations and BLS certification and able to obtain ATI certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current knowledge of nursing practice.
• Ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Strong communications skills verbal and written.
• Meet faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality of instruction using innovative methodologies.
• Use online/active learning activities to enhance content.
• Review and revise course syllabi as needed.
• Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner.
• Maintain student records and clinical requirements.
• Teach courses and clinical rotations on campus or on-site.
