Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is seeking a Faculty Support Representative for the Vocational Nursing Program at the Modesto campus. This role provides administrative support and interacts directly with students under the Program Head’s guidance.

Key duties include record maintenance, module and syllabi preparation, immunization document handling, and coordinating meetings, with a focus on smooth program operations and student success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Organizational knowledge of educational institutions.
• One year experience in a similar position preferable.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and monitor functioning of lab equipment.
• Assist in preparation of new modules (class preparation, syllabi, course work, etc).
• Collect immunization documents, monitoring and follow up with students.
• Track, file and follow up on all student work as needed.
• Email and track outstanding student work for all courses.
• Proctor make up exams and remedial work.
• Prepare student files for each instructor for each course and maintenance.
• Prepare, monitor and file competency checklists.
• File student work as appropriate in the archive room.
• Maintain and monitor faculty folders.
• Prepare-organize faculty, staff, and advisory board meetings.
• Arrange appointments.

Basic Function

The Faculty Support position works with the Vocational Nursing Program Leadership in providing administrative support interacting directly with Students based on the needs of the Program Head.

Essential Duties

• The job duties consist of the following and are not limited to:
• Maintaining records and monitoring functioning of lab equipment
• Assisting in preparation of new modules (class preparation, syllabi, course work, etc)

• Organizational knowledge of educational institutions
• One year experience in similar position is preferable
